When it was pointed out that Kirby’s LORD OF LIGHT designs weren’t actually public domain, the filmmakers dropped any mention of the real project so they didn’t have to pay the Kirby estate or Roger Zelazny anything for their participation.

Butter – I’ll only go if Rob Corddry parades about in his undies (or less) and keeps his mouth shut.

Cloud Atlas – loved the book but wonder if the film should have been a multi-part Television event. (Pillars of Earth anyone – yeah, I know, Oprah adored it so BAM) I’m told they’re not following Mitchell’s flow and telling all 6 stories at once hmmmmm. Non-readers are gonna have a wild ride but I wanna see Sonmi-451′s story most of all.
