Over at The Bureau Chiefs, Ken Lowery and I take a look at the trailers for films coming out in September.
In comparison to the summer months, this fall is actually looking pretty decent.
Here’s a beardy, brooding Ryan Reynolds, star of Buried:

Hey, does that mean we’re going to the movies in Sept?
I confess, I have commented on the audience erupting in laughter for Devil…but mainly because I presumed it was an internet exagerration…but I have no less than five friends (and myself who witnessed a full auditorium react like they were watching a comedy) in different states who had the same experience, so adding to the internet commentary, I can’t write it off as just internet chatter anymore. But as for the movie, I am both intrigued, yet in agreement with your and Ken’s lackluster response.
I am a bit more excited about Reynold’s Buried (I think because I am anticipating it as more of a suspense-how will he make it out (Will he?!) than a “Watching them die” horror piece).
I am inclined to agree with your take on You Again, in spite of some groan worthy moments, I find much of the cast very likeable.
