Okay, I’ve been looking for an outlet for a fantasy book question forever and I think it’s here: I lived in Pittsburgh between 1977 and 1982 and during that time I came across a paperback at the K-Mart that started off seeming like traditional fantasy (quest and all) but pretty soon in you find out that the two main male characters are in love with each other and a couple, which is cool in their society since they’ve already fathered the requisite number of children their society demands of all males. Does this ring any bells? I lost it within a few years of reading it and have never been able to recall author or title! At least I have more info than when I went looking for that Nancy Spinger book with a hirtless angel on the cover…
