Infinite Requiem, 1995, Daniel Blythe
The Doctor and Benny fight a trio of telepathic aliens on three different planets in three different time-zones, a trio that are actually linked together as one being. It’s complicated, yes, but it’s also very cleverly Who-ish and satisfying, even if the overall message of the book, that war is bad and sometimes good things come of tragedy, is a little heavy-handed.
