I thought the Aliens story at leats looked good. And it’s a prequel to a pretty good story, so I’d recommend picking it up.

Yeah, Ultimo was shockingly bad. If it wasn’t for the credits, I would have guessed that Stan Lee had written it entirely instead of just coming up with the “original concept,” so badly does it miss everything good about shounen manga.

Now I wish I’d picked up the Sonic book.

That aside, what struck me most is that my LCS carried fewer than half of these books.

How do you get advance copies of the FCBD issues?

I generally find FCBD comics to be pretty bad, but the comic book stores themselves have other promotions, artist signings and stuff, which makes it all worth it.
