In re: "Dark Wolverine," nothing says "dark" like generic frat-boy "tribal" tattoos. Ugh.

Otherwise, please put Colleen Coover and Paul Tobin on "Marvel Slumber Party." I would buy every issue.

Gentlemen, we've found the male version of Valerie D'Orazio. Caleb, does it really matter that you don't understand why what you did was so offensive? Most people when confronted with the fact they have offended a person or a group of people apologizes whether or not they understand why. I'm gonna miss Everyday Is Like Wednesday...

Caleb--If Richard, Chris and Bully explaining it to you couldn't get you to see why it was inappropriate, I certainly can't.

Wow, I was pretty surprised to see me mentioned when stopping by postmodernbarney.com, as I do daily. Surprised, and a little bummed out. I don't really feel the need to respond to every Newsarama poster who misreads something, but I'm surprised that that offended you because, frankly, I expected better from you.

I mean, "Gay-baiting?" Really? That was gay-baiting? Seven words making fun of the fact that hey, superheroes seem kinda gay (something that what, 20% of your own posts do?) and making fun of the impulse of making fun of superheroes for seeming kinda gay itself?

If so then, yes, I admit it, this particular comic book nerd does not, in fact, get it. You haven't explained it to me before though, patiently or otherwise, nor has anyone else. So go for it: How is that offense? How is it gay-baiting? What was sad and wrong about my posting those dozen words?

I was suddenly struck with a really good idea for a Marvel book. Too bad I’d never actually get into a pitch meeting with the company.

Ah, all you need is a mouthpiece to play Abe Simpson to your Bart & Lisa.

Yeeeaaaah, because Wolverine was too light and fluffy a character.

The only thing good to come out of Daken was Ares' 'Wolverine f**ked your mum!' line in Dark Avengers (another stupid title - we can't be far away from Dark X-Men, surely?).
