  Laserdisc cover for the first DuckTales story arc/pilot.
  
  The Japanese release of the show went by a different name which roughly translates to Naughty Duck Dream Adventure. Yes. Despite that DuckTales is still shouted in English in the Japanese opening theme making the change all the more confounding. Wait, it gets better though.
  
  I’m assuming they later realized how dumb that title sounded and simply re-branded the series as ダックテイルズ or Duck Tales as it should have been in the first place. So what gives then with the initial title change? I guess we’ll never really know.
